on the 2008 Presidential Election

Sent November 6, 2008

I think all candidates use topics to appeal to the people to get their vote. The real question here is....will He do what he says when he gets there. I did not keep up with much of it, however, listening to two of his speeches during the last days of the election, I think he is sincere. However, his ideas are great and would create change, but the key is getting those ideas passed through Congress. This country is in very bad shape and two maybe three terms are not going to fix it completely. He needs a plan of attack and he has to stick with it. I believe the country can be brought back somewhat normal but he is going to have to surround himself with people who know what to do and how to get it done. As for dark skin in the white house.....It's time!

Present Ashra & Merira Kwesi to lecture on the destruction and reconnection of
"Cultural Continuity"
of Afrikan people and the importance of this critical component in every aspect of our existence.

"These national and international lecturers also conduct the annual Kemet Nu (Black People) "Know Thyself" Educational Tours to Egypt and Ethiopia. Brother and Sister Kwesi link the historical with the present by means of visual documentation to bring "our story" to life."

"After numerous demonstrations, prayer vigils, and confrontations with the Mayor and the City Council, we feel that it is necessary to do what our founding President, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., would do and that is to march."
